     I was a little concerned when I tried looking up the address on
Google maps and it looked like a housing estate, most likely an error

Hi Warren yes Mainline bought the rump of JB and started to put some

components back in production because they had found all the drawings during

their clear-out, then about 5 years ago they had a massive fire an lost
everything including the tooling I believe so JB is I am afraid probably
beyong resurrection.
Very Sad. I did seem the name had been saved after an asset stripping
operation......

Has anyone had dealings with Mainline Electronics of Leicester
which now has taken over Jackson Bros?
I am looking to buy a large split-stator capacitor for a balanced
link-coupled tuner and Jackson appears to be the only source...
