Stefan
I only work LF and MF CW around EU and only use QRSS
for DX when necessary.
I also get many private emails about activities on LF/MF
from those who do not want to be reflector members and there are
PLENTY
I get more reports and comments privately than via the
reflector.
There were 3 stations active this morning on MF and NONE
are reflector members !!! I have worked them many times on cw
This is a busy time of year for me outside also BBQ'S etc
but the wx has been very wet recently but I did manage a BBQ yesterday
evening.
The Moscow grabber is useful and I was visible early last
nite around 2130 utc using QRS 30 and the band was just opening up.
later would have been good for QRS 3 - 10 for me but
I went QRT getting too late and I am always in the shack when the TX is
on
always hoping for a QSO

At this time of year there is propagation on both LF
es MF but few are listening or transmitting.
I've been calling
several times today but people prefer BBQ these days i think...
even the majority of DX grabbers are switched
off
My DX grabber is ON but is no DX for you, sri
;-)
Lack of activity is the problem although the winter
does have advantages.
Surprised at the lack of acty on the new 472 - 479. I
thought all of Germany would be calling.
I'm not in
Heidelberg at the moment, otherwise i would be active, like in the last
evenings.
BTW i got several reports by email from people who aren't
member of the reflector so i think after one or two time constants for home
constructed MF stations, there will hopefully be many newcomers on the band.
We have to supply them by beeing QSO partners so stay tuned..
I'm going to
play with the earth antenna soon and modify it to become a full size dipole
for 630m :-)
