The new-fangled method for hay-baling uses plastic sheet which comes rolled-up on large plastic tubes 770mm length, 90mm diameter 8mm wall thickness. Piles of them are often found discarded in the corners of fields. They look like handy LF coil formers?

Hi Mal

I can remember when baling straw with a static baler we used wire to tie the bales with not this new fangled string, you need wire cutters when you opened the bales for bedding in the winter.
