Yes ... Gene mentioned that he was heading up to the fire tower after dinner for some VHF work. Figured you should be within range and mentioned your name. Small world. Yeah, the PDM Class D (and Class E) stuff sounds great.

By all means drag out the NC-300 ... but do look around your radio warehouse for an old DX-100 or 32V transmitter. HiFi AM is quite conducive to a nice hour long conversation or round table. A lot of sharp guys (electronics and other other pursuits) on that mode.

I was talking with WA4PGI last night on 432 MHz. Gene told me about working you on AM and that your signal was excellent. Would be nice to hear you on my NC-300. It hasn't been turned on for many years now so I'm sure it will require some work. The only other receiver I have that sounds as good as the NC-300 on AM is the SDR-IQ. But it's doesn't glow.
