Dear Clemens, Graham, LF Group,

here I see a S9 carrier,the sideband noise from the co-channel
stations being S5 (DLF on 207kHz is S9+90dB).
On a remote perseus in Nürnberg I even can hear and read the
modulation.
But the output power of the BBC TX must be qrp.

I believe there are 2 lower-power 198kHz tranmitters in Scotland to extend the coverage of the Droitwich TX, so that is probably what the signal is. At this QTH, a fairly weak carrier is detectable, but the audio is lost in the mush of sidebands and external IM products from the local MF broadcast stations.
