Hello group,Beeing in holidays i'm running a temporary LF grabber for QRSS-3 for some time. I am prepared for a QSO by remote controlling the TX system in Heidelberg which is about 200km distant from here. Just receiived my CW beacon at 137.0 kHz at 40 dB S/N in 6 Hz. I tested an active E field antenna and the active ferrite antenna. Since the PC and antenna must be close to the house and i have no LF ground, the ferrite antenna performs much better... http://www.iup.uni-heidelberg.de/schaefer_vlf/DK7FC_LF_Grabber4.html Pictures will be collected. If you like, just try :-) 73, Stefan/DK7FC |
