Greetings all,Peter, DF3LP, has now finally found the origin of the mystery "staircase" signal on VLF, 12 to 15 kHz. That signal had previously been pinpointed by Paul in Todmorden, and bearings verified by other means. http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/VLF_Group/message/19298The Bockshorn-effect is remarkable.. and possibly a solution for all kinds of problems (limited garden space, unefficient antennas, ... ) Who will be the first radio amateur to build a reduced version of the phantastic OAM antenna ? Peter has more photos on request, just in case you need more details. Have a great sunday everyone, 73, Wolf . |
