I just realized that there was a 8970.010 Hz carrier visible on the G3ZJO "6000" grabber this afternoon, approximately from 12 to 16 UT. This was not sent by me. To avoid possible ambiguities, I will qsy from 8970.010 to 8970.008 Hz at 22:00.

At 21 UT I have started up a carrier on 8970.010 Hz (DHO locked). I'm radiating about 10 uW, feeding 0.32 amps into my LF antenna at home.

I will join in thoday after my daily LF transmission. QRG will be 8970.005ish Hz. So we will show up at Paul side by side :-)
Just built the new capacitor to resonate that antenna. The HV withstand voltage should be suitable now: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19882028/VLF/VLF_C.JPG

However my signal will be 20 dB lower than known from the 300m kite vertical antenna. Anyway, worth the fun :-) WX is excellent again!

Will someone else transmit on VLF as well?
