Andy, MF,A new article: http://hamnews.ch/2012/02/08/wrc-12-letzte-hurde-fur-472-khz-am-freitag/ ...that says that 495...505 kHz will be for new maritime services, exclusively. I don't know where the current "500" kHz band is allocated but that sounds like QSY for me.
