Power  down to  round  3 / 4 watts  showing  on  meter  with  2 tones ,

 

difficult to  measure  with the  set  up  at the  moment ,  just  checked  the  carrier  balance  with  2  tones  and  both peaks  on the  same  line  on spec-lab , audio  level  below  onset of  alc 

 

Tx  is a  little  over  kill  for  4 watts  ,  Racal  MA1723  exciter , split  drive  to  qty 2 skanti  250 w  o/p amps  combined  with  5 port  transformer combiner .  no  corona discharge  : -)

 

Local  check using  RA6790 , 3 Khz  usb  with  agc -off  , noise  floor  on spec lab  ~ -120 dB

TX only  due to  overlapping   ,

 

Carrier   20 watts  per  mode 

 

WSPR  = 100%   Tx

 

OP =  1  min  timer 

 

Running  now   1645 z

 

TX   set   500 KHz    USB

 

Rx   set  500Khz  USB   , run   WSPR and  Opera   as  normal 

 

WSPR   audio   1500 Hz

Op  audio   app   1400 Hz  (may  change  but  should  not  select 1500 )
