If it  was  2 tones  . that  may  of  been Chris  G3XIZ   on rtty  ?  85 hz  shift  is  the  usual

I was  running  ROS MF-2    , that  would  of been   501.5  centre  frequency , but  multi  tone
in 100 Hz  B/W       http://rosmodem.wordpress.com/

Running   wspr   502.4   dial  set  usb  , but  looks  like  Chris  has  stopped  sending , pity  as  I was
hoping to  get a set of  readings , with the  modified Ae this  side

Subject: LF: Beacons on 500kHz?

Hello All.
I was listening on 500kHz tonight at 22.30, and there were some very strong carriers, one around 502kHz had an alternating 2 tone modulation on it, a second carrier just HF of 504KHz, were these beacons or someone testing. I put out a call on 503kHz but no reply.
