Hi Jim, Yes, it was very much daylight when the TX was shut down at 1121 UTC. Sunrise here was at 1051 UTC. I wish I had left the TX on longer! Thanks for today's report and thanks also to PA3CPM PA3FNY and 4X1RF for their reports. Chris is showing the sigs a bit high in freq (0.02 Hz) so there is some drift on this end! 73 Joe VO1NA On Sat, 26 Nov 2011, James Moritz wrote: Dear Rik, Joe, LF Group,I monitored VO1NA last night/this morning (XES and XGJ were also visible). Joe's signal faded out at about 0940 and has not so far reappeared; this is more typical. Sunrise here is officially about 0740 at the moment; I guess when signals were being received yesterday at about 1120utc, it must have been getting light in Newfoundland.Cheers, Jim Moritz 73 de M0BMU This electronic communication is governed by the terms and conditions at http://www.mun.ca/cc/policies/electronic_communications_disclaimer_2011.php |
