The YO grabber is excellent, although located in a city! There is more
average QRM in 4X. It all depends on the distance ,Mal. This is not
groundwave exclusively. And the situation can change completely within
a few minutes, you know...
Looking forward to that evening...

I find the YO grabber not sensitive. The
Moscow grabber receives my signal when the signal is not visible on the
YO grabber.
Something odd going on!!. but I noticed last
night the 4X1/Haifa grabber received my signal when there was poor copy
on the YO grabber. Strange !! You live beside it so it is not a problem
for you

Re: LF: Daytime DX
Mal, LF,
Yes i know. Looking on the YO/4X1RF grabber you see that the DCF level
is almost constant over the day. In summer the level varies 30...40 dB
from day to night. So there is almost no day in winther.

Stefan es Co
The RN3AGC es TF3HZ grabbers are
sensitive during daytime. They receive me vy well during daylight.
Maybe you have already tried them.
Is the JA grabber set up for 136.173 Khz,
does he monitor this freq area ?
As posted yesterday: http://icas.to/argo/eu.htm
But the DCF S/N is just 15 dB in the moment. We would some kW ERP to
apear there. Maybe the path will improve later... 21 to 23 UTC must be
the best time to JA in the moment. Then, the band is closed to the east
and still open to the west.
Note his window is set for QRSS-120 so your QRSS-30 will hardly be
visible, even if S/N would suffice.
73, gl, Stefan, joining in too soon.
There is a good chance of being
seen/heard now the DX season has started
