Hi Jas it is difficult to say for sure but I think you can be fairly certain
that is DCF39. I dont think there are anyother signals like that on LF
anywhere else in the world and the fact it fades out at sunrise is a further
proof I think.

In Europe we can hear the "telegrams" every 10 seconds or so they have about
a 120Hz shift I cant remember the exact value. You will not see these on the
screen you will need to dig it out of the noise. The telegram is only about
1 second long I think.

Hello LF,

This was my first try to listen for DCF39.
The attached screen capture shows a trace around 138,830.5Hz.
Can anyone out there in Europe please confirm this is from DCF39
or not. It just faded away around 19:55, the sunrise time in Tokyo
of today.
