It seems LF/MF is now a waste of time, the reward
does not justify the effort. At present 10m is wide open to S.America,
LU5FR and others are booming in on CW in QSO MODE!!!
After many years experimenting on the lower
frequencies, for me it is getting near the time to PULL THE PLUG except
things dramatically change which I think is not going to happen. On LF some
years back there were over 30 countries active now only a couple of
stations are to be seen on QRS and no one on CW.
