Well this is embarrassing.... Just realised the signal ON periods correspond to the times my WSPR beacon is not TXing, so it looks like a low level suprii from my TX PA generated locally. The driver and PA in my QRP transverter are not switched off during TX (just no drive applied), so either the driver or PA is slightly self-oscillating and this is being picked up by the RX.
