Yes, I totally agree about the benefits of WSPR: it gives repeatable and accurate S/N readings which are useful when checking system/antenna changes or to track propagation changes. In my view WSPR is a wonderful tool for true scientific investigation.

All modes have their advantage and place, so perhaps your idea of activity days/nights when specific modes/bands are favoured is a good one. This would help to concentrate activity so each of us has a chance to explore and enjoy various modes and avoid the "spreading activity too thinly" problem.

BTW, I am on 137kHz WSPR currently and will look for your signal again this evening.
