Dear LF Group,

If all goes according to plan, I hope to be QRV from a portable location a few miles away on 500kHz later this afternoon / evening. I set up the antennas yesterday; a 15m high "umbrella" for TX, and 1/2 a K9AY array aiming east. The objective is to get good reception of Eu stations that might be active - reception of signals in an easterly direction at my home QTH is very poor due to local QRM from the broadcast stations. From previous experience, the TX antenna should be quite efficient, and provided I can actually tune it up, I should get several watts ERP.

I hope to be QRV in a few hours time; I will probably be able to check E-mail at that time, so let me know if you will be QRV.

Cheers, Jim Moritz
