on 9.0909kHz (45km)
Hi Stefan,
I did send Paul Nicholson an email to warn
him of G3XIZ's overnight transmission. Hopefully he has the files recorded and
will see Chris when these are analysed. At the moment I think this is a new UK
record, but if Paul did copy Chris this will be well over
100km.

Hi Roger, Chris, Very nice,
congrats! A new UK record, isn't it? The frequency looks very stable
over time. Maybe Paul Nicholson could try as well? I'm sure he would catch
him! 73, Stefan/DK7FC Am 03.03.2011 08:16, schrieb Roger

Last night I managed to receive G3XIZ for the
first time using SpecLab with 423uHz bandwidth. Chris was using about 150W
(I think), just his usual inverted-L antenna and not his balloon
supported antenna. My RX was the 80m vertical loop usually used for TX on
500/137kHz into my small MPF102 grounded gate FET preamp shown on my
website.
Distance between us is around 45km. Chris was
using a frequency slightly higher than usual for this
test.
