Dear Stefan, LF Group,

No, I am not currently transmitting on 9kHz - the amplifier was built some years ago to do some component tests in the VLF/LF/MF range and covers from several kHz to about 2MHz. It was built using parts of an old public address audio amplifier I found in a skip, and the TO3 audio mosfets came from my very first LF TX, which was based on a Maplin Hi Fi amplifier module, and was used on 73kHz and 136kHz. I later used the amplifier for my first 500kHz transmissions, so if it does get used for 9kHz one day, those mosfets will certainly have travelled widely in the frequency spectrum ;-)

Cheers, Jim Moritz

Hello Jim, LF,

Does it mean you are transmitting on VLF as well? :-) Would be interesting to know some details, if so :-)
