OK Mike thank you for the info.
I am using a TS690s Internal preamp on. No external amp. Best results were with the TX tuner 600mm diam resonant transformer from a LW antenna up13m 35m long sloping down to about 5m (slope temporary). Up wire touches only at tuner OP and two through the wall thin PTFE washers and at the top of antenna up lead using a deep ribbed glass insulator 8inches long far end plastic dogbone.
All comments welcome.
Ok on distance also I have long held the view that during day time terrain has a part to play.
However I need to address the RX side of things here its not good on 136 or 500kc/s.
