Hi Stefan, Ah I wasn't thinking of /p operation....you need a mule to carry more batteries :-)) Alan G3NYK ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stefan Schäfer" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, February 23, 2011 11:35 AM Subject: Re: LF: Title: Power MOSFET Knock Efficiency Up A Notch Hi Alan, In a few weeks i am /p in EI for 7...10 days! I'm thinking about beeing QRV on LF with a "travel-equipment". This might be a 100m kite antenna and a LF TRX and a 12V PA running at up to 30W out. There would be no alternative to a 12 V design! Using such a 12V, 7Ah battery would allow some hours of TX activity! :-) 73, Stefan/DK7FC Am 22.02.2011 20:52, schrieb Alan Melia: > Why stick to 12v ??
