Hi Stefan,

I'd like to second Mal's comments: this was a great effort on your part and your listeners/watchers around Europe appreciate the time and effort you put in to make this possible. It is so exciting looking for these signals.

In the last few minutes you are around 10dB S/N with me on 8.970kHz in a 4.52mHz bandwidth and easily the best I have managed to copy you.

My set-up (which couldn't be much simpler):
  • Untuned 80 sq metre loop in the garden (the one used on 136 and 500kHz)
  • MPF102 grounded gate preamp tuned to 8-9kHz in the drain with 2N3904 source follower into Spectrum Lab
  • Spectran set to 4.52mHz BW
