Hi Peter I am quite willing to accept the toad side but the VLF part looks at first scan through to be complete rubbish, either misunderstood or misquioted. The first comment that signals are more stable at night than in the daytime is just totally wrong and the reverse of the truth. There is evidence for ionospheric pertubations but it is sparse and not very reproducible. There needs to be an investigation of ionospheric changes where EQs didn't occur as well as the coincidental evaluation after the event. Well I suppose they are biologists. The problem with EQ precursors is that most experimentnting there WANT to get a positive result, which doesnt always lead to a critical analysis of the data. I dont knock it, because if a system can be derived it will save many thousands of lives. Thanks for the post I hadn't seen that one.
