How about a wire controlled model airplane, with the aerial substituted for the 
usual control lines?
You would have a choice of left or right circular polarization depending on the 
circuit flown by the
little craft.  A friend used to put a french fry on the hook of his fishing 
gear and cast for seagulls,
but that's limited to coastal areas where beach chickens are aplenty!
