Andy  is talking about   1  watt   dc  feed  to the  PA  and a  short Ae

The Part 15 regulations say something like "total length of antenna and earth connection less than 15m", but this seems to be open to varying interpretations ... perhaps up to "an antenna that will fit into a cylindrical space 15m high and 15m diameter". Most activity seems to happen around the top end of the band, so a dimension scaling factor of roughly 1.6 can be applied when comparing with 136k antennas. So the more optimal Lowfer antennas can compare quite well with their 136kHz counterparts.
