It is in absolute terms, I think.
 
But bearing in mind it is 10dB up in power , and best DX previously was 368km, then its just about the same assuming inverse square law applies :-(
 
I want to go for a walk now the Wx has improved, but feel a bit reluctant to leave the high power Tx without supervision after what happened before.   So if the signal goes off for a couple of hours without any further reflector messages, you'll know I've chickened out.
