Rick (et al),

WSPR is a very useful mode for 137kHz because the internet reporting system is so powerful and so useful. On 500kHz it allowed me to develop and improve my 1mW ERP QRP station to the point where my signal was copyable across western Europe. At the moment my aim with my QRP station on 137kHz is to get 100km or so, but better equipped stations would benefit from this mode I'm sure. The USA 500kHz WSPR beacon stations are regularly reported here in the UK at night.

Last night I had some success on 137.675kHz QRSS3 with very good screen-shots from G3XIZ 48km away. This is my best report so far in terms of S/N at this sort of range and I am very grateful to Chris for this report. I'm reasonably sure my WSPR signal will be copied at this range or greater now once I sort out the transverter.

My QRSS3 beacon is on this morning from 0630-12.30 UK time and further reports would be appreciated. With luck I should have the WSPR beacon active again shortly.

Hi Roger,
At least three stations are receiving wspr at 137500Hz in Japan.
Please transmit wspr more longer time, for example 24 hours.
