Dear John et al, LF Group,135.8kHz isn't great - the bottom edge of the band has a lot of sideband noise from the Lakihegy HGA22 transmitter, plus the FSK signal from SXV close to this frequency is strong after dark in the UK. I would suggest moving up the band to 136.3kHz or above. You can get a good view of the whole band in Europe from DF6NM's grabber at: http://www.alice-dsl.net/df6nm/grabber/Grabber.htm Good luck with the tests, Cheers, Jim Moritz 73 de M0BMU----- Original Message ----- From: "John Rabson" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]>Cc: "Robin Gape" <[email protected]>; "Chris Trayner" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, August 13, 2010 3:47 PM Subject: LF: Tests on 136 kHzIf all goes well we shall in the next few days start tests with about 30W to a modest antenna in central Burgundy. We intend to use 135.8 unless someone suggests a better part of the band. John F5VLF Chris G4OKWRobin G8DQX |
