Hello all:

I thank everyone who has offered advise so far on the best way to
connect the feedline to the newly constructed top hat. The common
opinion so far is to use a single strand of insulated #14 AWG wire,
spaced a short distance from the mast, and side of the mobile home.

Recommendations have been made to put a portion of the loading coil
close to the top hat. I would like some opinions on the type of coil
to use. A Solenoid type wound around the PVC mast, or a Spiral type
wound around a couple of short cross arms, each placed about 6 inches
below the top hat. Is there an advantage of one over the other ??
