Hi Uwe,
This is very fine that you will be QRV there as well! I am hopefully
that you will generate a nice signal that will be detectable here in
Heidelberg (maybe not in the moment, due to heavy thunderstorms, once
again).
Yesterday i have calculated the antenna C of the 100m and 200m vertical
with EZNEC+. The ratio of the achieved C is not 2 but 1,88, so maybe i
cannot transmit on 6,34 kHz but on higher frequencies, such as 6,5...6,6
kHz. Maybe my variometer can bring it to resonance on 6,34 kHz but you
see that there is a uncertainty. I cannot do anything else than bringing
up the kite and check where the resonance will be. Than i can inform
Markus (or you?) by telephone and he can inform the group where i am
transmitting.
When will you be QRV? If you want to do TX tests i could try to receive
you with my earth antenna because there on the mountain the QRM seems to
be even lower (has to be tested) :-)
Good luck solving your problems! :-)

Hi Stefan, hi all,
my aerial system is resonant, en fin, finally.
the 6.34kHz spectrum at JO43SV looks like that:
http://dj8wx-dl.de/vlf
as one can make out looking at the bottom of the pic
the Q of the system isnt too bad.
the sign visible in the capture (the end of an X) is on 6341,08xHz
in QRSS1800 mode generated by the homebrew ZPU lf exciter,
GPS disciplined. 500mV into a simple LW.
I could use the resonant aerial as a TX antennae as well if, if, if
the PA driver wouldnt regenerate (feed back) the PA output signs.
the problem has to be solved the next weeks.
