I have a LD30 W & G group delay measuring instrument. It has a RX and TX range 200 Hz - 20 kHz and would make a nice stable source for 9 kHz tx  and a wideband RX. With a suitable external dsp filter it could be useful.
Although I can manage the unit a handbook would be useful.
