Yes , that's quite possible , however there where some very big flux swings late on last night and the audio quality of the ssb signals where quite harsh ,, looking at the plot , depends where the path was , e clouds where reported floating over the Atlantic at the time as well (any one worked out what causes e yet ?)

What ever colour the cat , as long as it catches the mouse .. in this case a M3 beat the pile up .....

absolutely nothing to do with any auroral activity. I heard no sign of
auroral notes on 10m myself - was down there till around 9pm in CQ WPX.
