Hi Jay/group
His TX conditions are unknown to me, but his 160m antenna looks
impressive, google his call...
I received him on a resonant version of your version of the K9AY LF
antenna with two loops nw/se and ne/sw orientation. Still building the
transformers and preamp for the 'real' K9AY. Presently, I phase it with
the other loop to cancel noise.
My transmitter is back online as I raised a 20m tall vertical with 20m
of top loading the other day. Need to do some work to lower the
environmental losses by raising part of the loading inductance up.
However, the system seems to work ok as locals report strong signals.

Outstanding! Do you know his TX conditions? Your receiving setup?

After some trying another Japanese station has demonstrated the
capability of crossing the Pacific on 2200m.
Congrats to Kunikazu Togashi, JA7NI who was captured here this
morning between 1130-1300UTC today.
JA7NI joins Mori, JH1GVY in the trans-pacific JA club ;-)
Who will be the first to complete a QSO with NA?
