LF: Problems joining group

I have been asked to help someone who has been trying to join this 
group but without success. He says he has tried several times but: 
"Yahoo rejects it as 4.7 spam". He appears to have a btinternet email 
address which confuses me if the error message comes from Yahoo.

Has anyone any experience of this error message? Is there an easy 
fix?
