Spot on Rik
And why are those who build gear from scratch, use simple antennas,
embrace technology and try new modes, also interested in CW, QSO's, the
experiments of those who build powerful PA's, huge antenna's etc, but
the tolerance is not extended by the other side.
Why are there two sides? I would much prefer fellowship between all
Hams. Why make the group a misery.
I have been astounded from day one by the in fighting on this group. I
expected more from an experimental group that requires, in the UK, a
Special Research Permit. The SRP/NOV application needs more details for
a successful application than "I want to talk to my mates on the key".

For some reason anything to improve the signal seems to be acceptable
except the visible aid of computers:
- buy or build big antennas (and have the property to place them): OK
- buy or build big PA's: OK
- try new modes using "visible" aid of a computer: no way
