Horst:

The source is the video output of your computer, and laptops
are notably worse than desktop computers. Every time that 
the ARGO waterfall scrolls, you hear a Brrrp, Brrrp noise.
If it is the video output, you can tell by looking at pages on
the web. Every time the screen changes you will hear noises
thru your speakers. It is internal noise in the computer, and
I have not found a way to stop it here. I also have the same
problem while using Spectran, Spectrum Lab, WinRAD, MultiPSK,
any program with a waterfall display makes noise when it scrolls.
