Hello Jay,
congrats on the QSO with Finbar.
His QTH is almost perfect for 500kHz (close to the ocean, almost no
obstacles) in contradiction to my QTH (inland, lot's of trees).
But I am interested in a CW QSO with you, could you drop a message
(to the reflector) when you are QRV ?
I have rather limited time for the hobby, most evenings I cannot
spend all time listening.

500 kHz TA enthusiasts
Suprisingly good TA conditions of late. Had nice QSO (cw) with
Finbar, EI0CF, last night and again
tonight with good signals reports both directions. These QSOs are
about a month earlier than those
of the past two years. Not sure if it's conditions or that we just
didn't attempt it early enough
last year.
Jack, VX9ZZZ in Nova Scotia has also been in QSO with Finbar and
reports hearing other EU stations
besides Finbar even well before his sunset. I've heard Jack calling
CQ evenings starting around NS
sunset on 504 kHz and he tunes the band looking for answers.
