later plenty of USA acty on 160 m MF, expect 600 metres the same.
Last nite would have been a good opportunity for USA
/EU QSO'S on 600m

peak of signals from Gus - the "opening" lasted about an hour (abt my 0300
local) or so with an abrupt increase and slow fade out - Some evidence of
other WSPR carriers on assigned freqs but no
decode. 137 was quiet with "W" on DFCW of
probably WPF coming thru strongly till after my dawn - no Western Eu stations
fully decoded but some characters. Tonight will be my last night
here "MFLing and "LFLing" in China for a few weeks as I wander over to
KL7 and thence XE. I qrt in China in late Dec Laurence Nr
