Hello Roger,

it depends on the QRSS "speed".
Whatever message you choose I wouldn't make it too long (in time).
Suggestion:
- for QRSS3: "G3XBM JO20DG"
- for QRSS10 "G3XBM"
- for QRSS30 or slower "XBM"

Good folks,

Some advice please. I am about to organise some keyer ICs for beaconing in QRSS on 500kHz and 136kHz. Is there a standard message format used for QRSS beaconing?

I was proposing to use G3XBM JO02DG or just G3XBM . Is this OK?
