No decodes overnight - Im going to say its not because of QRN but more QRM last night.
A local coastal radio here (whose callsign shall remain nameless) has a faulty transmitter on 484kHz - its RF getting into their audio lines and Im guessing the tx is VOX line operated or appears so at the moment,and is on permanent tx with that all too well known RF into the audio line screeching.
White/gray/pink/Blue noise extends eitherside of their SSB tx passband and into 503khz range looking at the spec analyser. Its 40 over 9 here on main channel but crud is enough at 503 to mask WSPR :-(( Im hoping they fix it today as theyve been told its nixing Naxtex too...
It quietning down QRN wise as the last Typhoon dissapates but I see another one heading for Hong Kong...
