Dear John, Jim LF Group,

Oddly though Jame's twin spots of Jim are 100Hz apart:

M0BMU 0.503944
M0BMU 0.503844

My signal is on a nominal 503840 centre frequency... I think what has happened is that, in this instance, G7NKS's RX has drifted up by 46Hz, taking the "proper" signal outside the range of WSPR, and so only the two USB residual sidebands are being decoded. If you look through the database, you will see some spots where the main sig is inside the WSPR range, giving 3 spots with the lowest frequency one at a much higher level like this:

2009-09-16 22:08 M0BMU 0.503951 -10 0 IO91vr 2 G7NKS IO92ub 38 351 2009-09-16 22:08 M0BMU 0.503851 -11 1 IO91vr 2 G7NKS IO92ub 38 351 2009-09-16 22:08 M0BMU 0.503801 +14 1 IO91vr 2 G7NKS IO92ub 38 351

This agrees with G7NKS's spots of SM6BHZ, which are shifted in frequency by about the same amount.

Cheers, Jim Moritz
