Rik,
Looking at fldigi , the MFSK-4 looks to be 100 Hz wide ?
may be a little slow, but will print , the MFSK mode is also
more robust than OLIVIA. (olivia is showing at 125 Hz Bw minimum)
The lower 'throb' modes also show under 100 hz , but ive never
used them
From the test's I ran over the last year or so , the MFSK system looked
to work the best on 500
Gary ran a lot of beacons with 23 hz rtty , with varying results ,
reducing the baud rate by 50% lowers the error rate as well
psk31 , works quite well, but dose not seem to travel too well on
500, but looking at the results of the propagation test using the
zl2afp system, phase modulation may not of been a good choice !
Of all the data system , narrow 2 tone fsk (23) is perhaps the most
fragile

Hello Gary,
call the is almost right, locator completely.
But not really impressive for 500mW ERP.
I could see my signal on your grabber, some slow QSB but strong for
the last 2 minutes or so.
I used MTTY with the profile "23Hz RTTY (MTTY)" without any further
changes, not sure that this is the best mode.
So any advice is welcome.
I have also installed MultiPSK, but am still overwhelmed by the colors
and options.
I am allowed to use any digital mode as long as I stick to max. 100Hz
bandwidth.

I will run a short (10 minute) rtty test (23Hz shift) on 503.500 at 21UTC
Reports and/or reply welcome.
