they are indeed Loran: The Russian chain on GRI
8000 (Slonim, Petrozavodsk, Simferopol, Bryansk, Syzran) has
lines on multiples of 50000/8000 Hz = 6.25 Hz. Here they
are often visible in purple on the colour-RDF screen.

Does anybody know
something about lines on the picture? They appear every day after sunset and
disappear with sunrise. They are very stable and on the accurate frequency. I
know lines from Loran-C, but these lines are another else, I think.
