Not surprised. Dave is on the coast in Marshfield
Massachusetts and I'm considerably inland. Take a couple dB away and
there will be little to nothing on the Argo screen. It's like
the difference in received signal level here between you and Finbar
- being on the water is a big advantage.
Last night's attempt was using the vertical
transmit antenna for receiving. When we worked previously I used the K9AY for
receive...but the recent ice storm has taken it down. Repairs should
be completed this afternoon.
If you'd like to give it another
try tonight I'll be happy to take a listen.

fb copy on my signal, surprisingly Jay saw nothing, although I had copied
him OOO
Can you TX for a qso if so let me know
when.
I often copy your signal on 500 khz audible and
strong at times.WD2XSH/17. We could possibly have a norm CW QSO.
