I've been somewhat erratically lowering Tx power level during the evening, and have now reached 0dBm ERP (ish). The power setting within the Tx message has been adjusted at each change, apart from three transmissions at 14dBm when it was still reporting 17dBm as the WSPR software wouldn't accept a setting that wasn't already in its table.
The figures won't go below 0dBm so they will no longer be a true representation of tx power. WSPRnet is still reporting several listeners copying my sigs, now at -28dB S/N, so will continue decreasing power a bit longer.
The current 0dBm ERP is generated from 250mW being delivered to the antenna. I've just constructed a 100mW PA, so tomorrow will try that that for some real QRP instead of the 200 Watt job backed off.
