Dear Dave, LF Group,

Many thanks to everyone who listened for the WSPR beacons and for all the reports. Over the last few weeks, 50 or so stations have copied the beacons, in about 14 different countries, so a fair bit of activity has been stirred up. It is nice to see that quite a large proportion of reports have come from stations who have not previously been involved with LF/MF, so perhaps we have made a few "converts". This is particularly so with 500kHz, where it would appear it is often possible to get quite good reception by plugging a random wire antenna into a standard receiver, so it is not difficult for people to get involved.

I see there were around 40 spots uploaded from Dave, AA1A, through the night, with the last one at 0646utc. Would be interested to know if that was when the signal dropped out, or if that was when you went QRT?

Cheers, Jim Moritz
