Hi Warren, hi Jim!
Thanks for Your replies!
This "icelandic" langue sounds amazing to my ears... :)
Last night (18./19.Jan.), after the "wow" expierence with a Q4-signal from
189kHz Hellissandur at 22:16UT, I was continuosely following the transmission
from 23:29UT to 1:00UT
(1:00UT wipe out caused by 177kHz DRM)
Signal was rather Q3 at the beginning of the period and rather Q2 at the end,
the field strengh seemed to drop down over the timespan.
"Europe1" 183kHz switchoff at 0:03UT made it much easier to listen to.
It was amazing, how stable such a real DX on langwave can be. There where only
4 QSB-dips in the 91 minutes of observation, with only the last dip down
causing loss-of-signal for two minutes.
I'd like to apply for a qsl-card from RUV :)
Have a sunny day!
Dennis
