Nice qso.
XGR/6 is vy strong with me every night around 579 up and down a bit with qsb
but vy suitable signal for a qso.
I am further away than Finbar but it would be worth trying to have a qso.
I will tx on 502.6 khz approx and listen on the XGR/6 freq 507.3 khz approx.
Pse qsp and tnx

Subject: LF: 1st 500kHz T/A QSO
Congrats to Bob WE2XGR/6 and Finbar GI4DPE for the 1st transatlantic
ssb/cw contact on 500kHz!
Bob worked Finbar first as a regular cw contact, then Bob switched to
ssb on 510kHz and continued the QSO.
This is despite an ice storm at Bob's QTH which deposited 1/4" of ice
on Bob's antenna which resulted in Bob's output power dropping to
500W.
(Bob's estimated ERP 60-70W on ssb rather than the usual 200W).
