Its noticeable when tuning around these bands the
re emergence of stations exchanging reports and sending long coded 5 letter
group messages mostly at hand sent speed but others automatic, some are
using the cyrillic alphabet.
Someone obviously being prepared in the event of a
big BANG and maybe using valve/tube devices which are more
robust.
It could be back to basics quicker than you think.
Learn how to make a RX out of a piece of fence wire, toilet roll, and razor
blade detecter/pedal cycle alternator for power/basic 6v6 osc/pa for tx, and
most important be able to send CW by touching two bits of wire
together.
Indians are also in with a good chance, I expect
they still know how to send smoke signals!!!
